Me: I'm going to study geography! It's nice to live in a country with a wide variety of programs at the collegiate level, it's just a shame that so few people outside the field seem to take it seriously. I've been asked if my degree is just naming capitals so many times, really that's just such a small part of political geography and the wider field is so much more diverse. I wish physical or environmental or human geography or biogeography got a bit more time in the sun-- Some fascist orange asshole who thinks he's god: It's called the Gulf of America now. Also I hate trans people and minorities and immigrants and I want to invade Greenland and-- Me: I gotta learn to just keep my mouth shut
