For a few seconds I thought #Lego had included an Armus Easter egg in the new #StarTrek set, but it turned out to be Troi's hair.

The Times' photo of Joyce appears to be from a Manchester Evening News article from 2024, which touches on the 2016 interview but has more recent quotes. Starmer's stance may have changed but hers hasn't. It appears her biggest issue last year was Eastern European milk-and-honey-grown plum thieves.🙄

But like Nyree and Jonathan Brown, who we spoke to in Wigan, she insists she is not racist. "I live among Asian people and I am friends with all of them," she said. "I go to their weddings, their children call me auntie. I would like to say that we can live as a neighbourhood together and respect each others cultures. "But there is too much immigration, full-stop. I'm quite aware that the NHS probably wouldn't work without immigration but we have too many people looking to come to the land of milk and honey and take the plums we have grown."

I saw this comment on a Scrabble discussion thread. Chances are I'd have completely missed the romantic clues as I headed down to the all-night convenience store to buy a dictionary and a highlighter pen.
I remember playing the word 'radii'... and my opponent told me the word wasn't in her dictionary and refused the word claiming she was victorious... I humbly let it go... but, I certainly "won" the game later that night ;)

It's amazing how prescient the movie #WarGames was with some of its possible nuclear war strategies.
