The EN loc for FFXIV is absolute dogshit, which is why I play it in Japanese, and urge anyone that’s able to to play in literally any other language, I hear German and French locs are much more faithful. Its frustrating because I know that’s not possible for everyone…

I'm on 3.2 now, and even if Minfilia says it was her choice to become the voice of the planet, it feels like her faith was taken advantage of and its not all that different from tempering. Nael is my favorite so I think about her a lot, and I couldn't help but see the similarities in their fates.

It… honestly doesn’t feel that different than what happened to Nael. Tricked in different ways, sure, but left as no more than a mouthpiece for their god… the way she used 「わたし」 kinda has the same vibes as Nael switching to 我 when she’s completely gone…

Even if Minfilia claims she wished to become a part of Hydaelyn and serve as the voice of the planet, it feels like her faith in her was taken advantage of and tricked her into this position, it feels gross… she‘s tempered now, and it being ~Hydaelyn~ doesn’t change that
