The awesome speech shudders on tongues,

There is still time to make a gift in honor of the High Holidays. We will resume publishing on the other side of Yom Kippur, and look forward to another year of meaningful work and connection.

G’mar chatimah tovah.

Gut yontif! Fall is a time of transition and new beginnings. Here at In geveb we welcome both the start of the Jewish year and the commencement of our publishing year. 2025/5786 holds particular meaning for us this High Holiday season: we have officially been publishing for ten years as of August!

In geveb endeavors to be more than just an academic journal: we are a publication for all engaged with Yidishkayt (broadly construed). Our work has always been 1) online-only and 2) free for all without a subscription (and without the barriers that limit access to most scholarly journals).
