A friend said to me years ago that the progression of crises is tech becomes industrials which becomes financials and then kaboom. Over the past month it feels like we’re doing the handoff from industrials to financials.

Scary time to be a parent of young boys. I feel like the most practical approach I can take is a) teach them the importance of selecting a high value information environment b) lead by example.

Market isnt even close to valueing in the possibility that China doesnt believe they can negotiate a deal with Trump in good faith hoing forward. Its not a trivial possibility given the catastrophic ramifications.

Trump actually think business leaders are going to greenlight multi-year, multi-billion dollar projects in his monkey house environment if Powell will just nudge the cost of capital a fraction of percentage lower.

I read that Trump and the Podcast Bros are seen as cool counter-culture for people 18-24, and I have to say that Pop Culture failed them more and did more damage to their generation than the Pandemic ever did.
