I like movies a lot. I worry about right-wing extremism. I play and sometimes write tabletop RPGs. I do SRE things but don’t speak for my employer here. I grew up in New England and live with my wife in Seattle. He/his.

No problem! Btw if it’s convenient, including the years saves me a couple of minutes but only if convenient.

I would not judge you at all.

I was really impressed with how thoughtfully he answered audience questions at his recent Seattle screening. He comes across as deeply thoughtful. Thanks for the link!

I suppose we can finally end the condescending myth about how it wasn’t enough of a success.

Fritz Lang knew the score. What a good movie to see on a cold Seattle afternoon as Trump tries to find out how far we’re gonna let him go. Hey: it is what Americans do right now that settles that question. Not what you did in 2016, not what you did in 2024, not what anyone else did. You, now.

“A state of complete insecurity and anarchy founded upon the tainted ideals of a world doomed to annihilation. When mankind, subjugated by the terror of crime has been driven insane by fear and horror and when chaos has become supreme law, then the time will have come for the empire of crime.”

Is non-woke and woke just “class politics that don’t consider race and gender” and “people who force me to think about intersectionality when I would prefer not to?”

Also I liked our GM fine but he added another flavor of token with the action dice and I think maybe better to take the burden of watching out for quiet players on his own shoulders. Oh, did he get the VT setup working for y’all?

Oh hey! Shadow Stepping was really fun.

Agree, there are a lot of currencies between Hope, Stress, Hit Points, and throwing tokens on ability cards to track available usage. When I read Inspirational Words and realized that I had yet another thing to track I kind of sighed.

That’s a wrap for the con for me; I was gonna go down and hang out tomorrow but I am prioritizing protesting ICE. Looking forward to next year and I should probably run something. Probably Feng Shui.
