I keep trying to get ppl to understand: crashing the economy into an economic depression doesn’t hurt the extremely rich—it helps them…it’s their GOAL…it forces everyone else to sell off all their assets to pay debt—eat—merely survive…allowing the rich to buy up & own literally everything of value

It’s a catch-22 predicament btwn urgency to resist…& awareness they’ll frame meaningful resistance as “terrorism” & escalate—putting everyone at greater risk to life & limb

On the one hand, it’s not appropriate to ridicule someone’s speech impediment which they suffer as the result of a stroke.

On the other hand, it’s not appropriate for someone to continue to hold office who has suffered demonstrable decision-making cognitive impairment as a result of that stroke.

Strong case for the correlation between decline in literacy and democratic decline.

If more ppl read books every once in a while, they’d be able to recognize this kind of thing coming from a mile away, before it ever had a chance to take over and entrench itself.
