it is so weird how typing becomes this muscle memory thing where i know how to spell something only if i'm typing it out but as soon as i go to say out loud how to spell something i suddenly forget how english works. i have to imagine the key presses in my head sometimes to remember how to spell lol

Finally generalized the object spawn system for #DecayChain, which involved a lot of tool scripting to compile an asset list to populate the menu so I don't have to crawl directories at runtime, along with automating turning res files into RigidBody3D from a .blend

trying out zen browser and this thing is pretty cool. fork of firefox so its not chrome-slop and seems to be way more performant so far. plus its super minimalist. might just have to stick with this for a while.

Doing some network synced physics science right now in #DecayChain, also made a general way to spawn props synced in multiplayer, so expect 10 billion network synced cheese wheels and melons soon.

Thank you to everyone who was able to make it to the play test last night! Super cool to see people having fun with the game. Working on a game within the team you only really see the flaws, but sitting down to actually play it with people you get to see that spark of "oh, we actually made a game!"

I was writing up the blogpost for itch for the private play test and accidentally hit the previous page button and it deleted everything I wrote :(

I wish it was a requirement for anything that has a large text entry window to save a cookie with what you were writing last in it...
