The fraud and waste is it existing & being fully staffed. And the solution is to take a wrecking ball to it by either getting rid of it, or reducing the employees down to an untenable amount. I guess there's no fraud if there's no department, or all the employees have to cover multiple positions.

If Elon or Trump were serious about DOGE goals, they'd 1) employ seasoned auditors, 2) work alongside Congress welcoming oversight, and 3) not destroy their credibility by lying about sloppy examples.
