This was also hilarious. Apparently there’s an achievement for knocking an opposing player over the wall and into the bench, and playing a PWHL game is still eligible (the play-by-play audio track even correctly genders it as “she got dumped right on the lap of her teammates!”).

First time I’ve gotten a hat trick in #EA_NHL… not a lot of hats on the ice, probably because I‘m playing the road team. Still, nice that they animated it.

I forgot to mention that @archiveofourown.org parent The Organization for Transformative Works is also on Benevity, so if you have an employer that uses Benevity for charitable donations, you might be able to throw them some of your boss’s money.

The last couple grafs here also remind me why Tim Walz calling these guys “weird” worked so well. When you see Samuel Alito flying the flag upside down outside his vacation home because… well, I don’t why, maybe because Biden wanted to forgive student debt or install EV chargers… they just seem nuts

I re-organized the collector’s set boxes in the PlayStation Nook to find a spot for the enormous Final Fantasy Tactics box (slightly larger than Square Enix’s “NieR: Replicant“ box, and that’s saying something).

This is bizarre to me. You can get the book “Dungeon Crawler Carl” on iBooks as an audiobook, or in French/Spanish/Italian/German, but you can’t buy the regular eBook in English. Same goes for B&N Nook. But you can get it on Kindle. Did Amazon pay for some kind of exclusive? Annoying, at any rate.

This is bizarre to me. You can get the book “Dungeon Crawler Carl” on iBooks as an audiobook, or in French/Spanish/Italian/German, but you can’t buy the regular eBook in English. Same goes for B&N Nook. But you can get it on Kindle. Did Amazon pay for some kind of exclusive? Annoying, at any rate.
