This was also hilarious. Apparently there’s an achievement for knocking an opposing player over the wall and into the bench, and playing a PWHL game is still eligible (the play-by-play audio track even correctly genders it as “she got dumped right on the lap of her teammates!”).

First time I’ve gotten a hat trick in #EA_NHL… not a lot of hats on the ice, probably because I‘m playing the road team. Still, nice that they animated it.
