Calm is a superpower. Trying to fit as much sewing and knitting into my day as possible. Plus cats, and gardening, and books.
I like ‘Edible Thoughts Makes’ and ‘sorceress-crafts’.

Looking at finished projects on instagram, I did a FBA so my waist seam wouldn’t be mid-bust. I also picked the smaller of the two sizes. (2/2)

Yes, the front & back bodice pieces are the same length. So if you’re bigger than an A cup, it’s going to pull the waist seam up higher. I also have a slight curved upper back (bad posture) and it will shift back because of that too. (1/2)

Yup, or a pot of steaming water on the stove top. Or probably a few other ways I haven't considered.

Thanks! I tend to do this on button down shirts. And rtw button down shirts too. 😆 Who's got time for all those buttons?

Sometimes using weight while it dries will be enough. If needed, you can also gently steam it.

You've articulated that feeling perfectly. I've also come to the conclusion that using yarn and buying yarn are actually separate hobbies. This situation is also creeping over into my fabric stash. 😬

I’ve totally skipped button bands/buttonholes on traditional button up shirts before so it’s a definite possibility.
