- stories can get away with being messy if your overall narrative is kind and uplifting
- if your story is tragic and mean you have to actually make it narratively satisfying
- TV writers have not still not realized this

I’m still pissed about how the us shutdown ended. 40 days for absolutely nothing bc SNAP is still only PARTIALLY funded AND healthcare costs are up. @schumer.senate.gov needs to resign- either he didnt ok this and he’s ineffective thus unfit to lead or he DID and he’s unfit for governance entirely

Similar to my post about "liberation means even for that annoying guy you hate" - weird art includes art you personally don't get, don't like, wouldn't spend money on, find unsettling. Games you wouldn't play. Books you wouldn't read. Decommercialise your preconceptions of what art deserves to exist
Everyone saying "make weird art!" you better fucking mean it. There better not be an unspoken "but not too weird" tacked on at the end.

Games you wouldn't play. Books you wouldn't read. Decommercialise your preconceptions of what art deserves to exist
He is 90% exasperated snark at any given moment. In my mind Yamikumo solidifies his friendship with Yuu (proto uraraka) on the first day of class by snarking with her over how ridiculous both Iida and Katsuki are (they still get into the desk argument).

It’s Sansa Week so I painted my girl as a weirwood tree. Cat relays that a weirwood tree has never grown in the Eyrie, but with her mother’s nurturing (water) and her father’s love (and rep in the Vale) (nutrients) Alayne will be the seed which blooms into Sansa in her Northern glory ❤️ #sansastark
