nice! a two year time lag is intense. was that normal in small town US back then? I feel like even on The Island we tended to get movies within a year

getting new VIDEOS, now THAT was a fucker. when someone finally opened a rental shop that stocked movies newer than 3 years old it was revolutionary

we did used to have one (1) movie theatre on the island, which doubled as a village hall, but then the projectionist died of old age and I guess they couldn't get any other projectionists to move out there
