Managed to persuade my father to tell his care assistant & nurse that they have to get him ready to leave the house on Saturday. He promised to book a cab & ensure his care assistant helps him into it.

I think the chances of him actually doing this are very slim, but he didn't make an excuse.

I reflect, often, on the shortfallings that ended over half a dozen relationships with some incredible people.

And I regret, very often, the hurt that I caused these amazing people who spent time in my life. I am truly sorry for what I did.

I'm a Tory councillor but that's not the fess. I started going grey, so decided to grow a beard. I got back from holiday and was very happy with how bushy it was. Then, the councillor for the ward nextdoor called it my Karl Marx beard. I've just bought new shaving gear.

My life serves as living proof that humans can live a #vegan life, long-term, be healthy & more important - be nonviolent & show basic decency to all others; human & nonhuman. The best part of aging is more years of living #veganism, #AnimalRights & #nonviolence. Vegan living extends beyond diet.

You don't have to be a massive gym freak to be opposed to animal abuse.

#Veganism is not about your physique, your ego or your status.

It's #fta about the animals; compassion. It's about stopping rape, expoitation, abuse, extermination.

Not your clout, your PB, your status in your gym.

Warm, dry, affordable homes are not terrorism.

Jobs which allow us to have these homes are not terrorism.

Healthcare is not terrorism.

Representation at work is not terrorism.

Human dignity is not terrorism.

Who we love is not terrorism.

Denying all of that? That's terrifying.

We've created a world where intelligent people will argue, vehemently, that animal abuse is fine. Torture, exploitation, rape, extermination, all tickety-boo.

And if you're against that - you're dangerous & the law should act against you.

Against animal abuse? Fine, unless it's your plate.
