A family member recently told me they would rather crash their car into a tree instead of being put in a home and Medicaid taking everything.

Admitting no one knows anything makes investing much easier. Everyone is making it up.

He was on Compound podcast this week which I thought was very good.

Agreed. The underwriting is being done by 30s/40s SF cutting edge tech dudes thinking 200 million people are suddenly going to be paying power users.

The near term TAM is massively overstated.
November 27, 2025 at 3:47 PM
Oh I think it might take awhile. Right now there isn't a killer app or feature that tips two hundred million into paying $30 per month for a must have product.

I think big tech is underwriting not becoming Research in Motion.

Zuck even said the risks of spending > risk of not spending.

Gen AI outputs will just be the top of the first inning.

At a very high level, giving humans increasing compute power that gets cheaper over time has been a very powerful tool over the last 70 years.

The cool internet stuff really started 5 years after the dotcom bust and again w/ 4G in 2010s.

Early adopters excited about new things. A tale as old as humanity.

Imo, it's a helpful new tool that will evolve over time. Hopefully we see some really cool and life changing things built on the "AI layer".

Put these weirdos on the no fly list and call it a day.

Had pressure to trim positions and I pushed to deploy into some momentum places that I avoided in October/November that were absolutely knifed. Made the case and got the green light. Worked against me for 12 hours making me grumpy then finally worked, then really worked.

We will see.

Look at the original date/time of the tweet Friday morning and a 5 day spy chart.

The AI bubble bear porn guys were all taking a victory lap.

Its very bizarre and baggy. They shouldn't have to say anything other than "read our filings and the big numbers we post every quarter."

Sun Belt. Places that went up the fastest in 2020-2022 are getting wrecked.

I also like this post from reddit. I find myself going down rabbit holes more often than I thought (bullish Google) when I see an output that looks off. It has been a really good learning tool checking the sources and figuring out if my info/memory is wrong or the LLMs.

Agreed. The efficiency gains are crazy (its like 5 people working on something). The downside, if I am off, its like 5 people are not working for the day.
