it all stems from the leftist inclination to have a hot take and one-up each other. if you can't access joy, what can you access now? let's start there. this is why i think somatic liberation will be what unlocks all of this for us. whatever you're feeling in your body, it is revelatory to be felt.

rest and joy are human rights that the state convinces us aren't necessary. some of us have the privilege to access these things more than others. i think shaming each other for the levels of how revelatory one things ones actions are individually and personally is fruitless and also weird

i don't have the energy to debate white people at this point. whatever perspective that helps black, brown, indigenous, trans people survive and keep going is, quite literally, resistance.
