Back in 2016 Humble was literally the only mainstream storefront willing to carry Ladykiller as an 18+ game, which I thought was courageous of them and helped push other platforms. Seeing how far they've fallen since then in making this deeply embarrassing decision is really painful to see
Yeah so that shortage is because of ableism and the US government's continued war on drugs. They arbitrarily decided too many meds were being used and stopped making them. Not actually "too many people getting ADHD" medications. Hope that helps you not throw a bunch of disabled people under the bus.

Literally any time someone tries to say shit to me about Chicago. I lived there for 15 years. Chicago has problems, like any major city, but the people who don't live there know fuck all about them. Fuck you, Chicago is cool actually.

The original grievance was about non-service dogs in planes and in restaurants and such and there is an easy way to fix that. Make dog friendly flights/hours/places and put up signs that say when/where those are. Shaming people you don't think are actually disabled? Yeah, not a good precedent.
There’s no such thing as the ideal disabled person and the insistence on only catering to the ideal disabled person creates compounding structures that actively harm the disabled community and these structures get repurposed pretty quickly for isolating and harming other marginalized groups
It reminds me of the classic “real victims” fallacy that mainly functions to deny that victims are really victims in pursuit of respecting “real victims” but it’s just a practice of shaming specific victims that hurts everyone
