Roommate left Hank out of his cage today when he left for work, so he immediately jumped me when I opened our front door and bolted out to the storage room out front. First thing he did was walk around and instantly honed in on a high power flashlight we lost six months ago.

My oven can't cook a chicken breast in a timely manner but it sure as fuck can roast that thing to ashes if I turn on the broiler for any longer than 45 seconds. I'm kinda sad now.

I don't know if we're keeping him (?), but god DAMN I forgot how needy and loud sub-month-old kittens can be. Little bug's not weened and still doesn't understand our bottle, but I'm going to do my fucking BEST for this little man.

Barn cat gave birth under our house a few weeks ago and ditched one of her kids, so now I'm fostering a 4 week old kitten in my office and I will not be allowed to sleep tonight.
