I saw Predator Badlands last night. Straight-up fun action movie. Unlike Michael Bay Transformer movies, you can actually *see* the quick-moving fight/battle sequences. Lots of cool gadgets for the Predator that makes me yearn for a Batman (movie) that accesses his utility belt more frequently.

I saw Predator Badlands last night. Straight-up fun action movie. Unlike Michael Bay Transformer movies, you can actually *see* the quick-moving fight/battle sequences. Lots of cool gadgets for the Predator that makes me yearn for a Batman (movie) that accesses his utility belt more frequently.

I don't much about the northern lights but from what I'm seeing is the sun recently popped a pimple and the oil and puss is headed towards earth which will paint the night sky in green and red foreign matter.

So crazy that the Northern Lights have now been easily visible this far south in the US in back to back years. I'm assuming we're ramping up in solar activity and there's been more sunspots.

This dramatic trough approaching the southern and southeast United States reminds me of Christmas Eve 2020. Here's a comparison of the 500 mb height anomaly. Won't be working with similar available moisture but upper dynamics are on par with each other. Left: (today, Monday) Right: Xmas eve '20.
