The only fun/kind nickname the men I worked for in the funeral business gave me was "Spaulding" because my baseball stitch was so damn good that I sewed up all the autopsies. It wasnt even gendered or them being intentionally incompetent; I watched all of them sew before I got to and they *did* suck

Watching 50 Cents Puffy doc and I absolutely love seeing the captions ACCURATE. A lot of captioners editorialize when they change the words people say, especially when gentrifying Black speech. In this documentary, if someone says "hisself", thats what the captions say, vs editing it to "himself"

At one point in my life, my brain absolutely shat the bed because I kept confusing "pareve" food with "gluten free" and it was while I was living with a nonbinary terf with coeliacs.

It honestly infuriating that 90s parents were right about Marilyn Manson being evil, but for all the wrong reasons. They thought he was Satanic and a sexual deviant who had a rib removed to suck his own dick. Turns out he's (allegedly) a domestically abusive rapist. Right answer, wrong math.
