You have heard it said that DOGE is improving government efficiency by making spending cuts. But I say to you, DOGE is like a surgeon who removes the patient's arm when they only had a hangnail. Whether it was incompetence or malice, the patient is left unnecessarily disabled by their action.

It would be a shame to encourage folks to use banned book lists to do strange things like
-check them out regularly at the library
-request the library order them if they don’t have them
-buy them
-start or support banned book clubs
-organize a banned book kids story time
A real shame

Finishing up my 2nd round of Covid in 4 years. Not too bad, as I have received every new vaccination. I wonder how bad it will get when there are no more vaccines due to mass ignorance?

(2,2) This was a horrific public shooting & something that should cause us all to step back and ask how we make sure this does not happen again. If you or your family have been hurt by this industry, fight the policy and call out the decision makers, just do not root for or joke about gun violence.

(1,2) I am seeing many comments making fun of the health care executive murdered this week, comments that are justifying his murder. If you are someone doing that, shame on you. Gun violence on our streets is not an answer to any issue you have with anyone else or any group.

Here's a thought: Get money out of politics. Federally fund elections. No outside funds allowed. Background checks and #### signatures required to receive funds (number needed depends on office). Campaigns last only 3 months. Abolish electoral college.

The most difficult thing about living now is that I am surrounded by good people who made a terrible decision on November 5 because of fear, or ignorance, or misogyny, or greed, or???. But the greatest percentage of them are people who would pick me up if I fell or feed me if hungry. #loveishard
