Friendly reminder that Congress had enough phone calls coming in last February that it was actively causing the phone system to crash and they had to progressively work to upgrade it over several nights to ensure it could handle the call volume.
If enough people call, it disrupts the system.

I'm seeing a lot of posts to call your reps but little on actually how. 5calls.org is a great site where you can put in your zip code and get numbers for your house representative and two senators. You also can get a script if you're like me and stumble over your thoughts.

So, a new interview with the Clair Obscure / Expedition 33 developers came out
And there was a very pointed question with a clear cut answer on the genAI stuff- this is so much more reassuring!!!?
Basically it was due to early genAI naivety and they don’t fw it.

I may wish Bluesky had more of the same exact people I see on Twitter but man if it isn’t so much healthier just because the recommended page is much more boring and simple. I don’t know what it is. Bsky just doesn’t have the same “I should keep scrolling” effect it’s nice.
