For every conflict there is the hero, the villain and the victim. The victim never really gets rescued, just kept in a state of limbo until they can be the victim for the next time.

This reminds me of the false premise of the Iraq War. Think of how much faster we could have found Osama Bin Laden if all those resources had not been diverted away from Afghanistan. Not to mention the power vacuum and repercussions of destabilizing Iraq.

Yeah well the Great Black Friday Boycott was a bust. So much for non-violent protest. Come out on a nice sunny Saturday in costume with signs? Yeah we can do that. But do something that's an inconvenience? Not so much. The consumer has the power, but not the will power, to actually use it.

I saw it coming. Average people aren't seeing things the way we, on BS, see them. Not to mention the ingrained habit/ ritual of holiday shopping. One point though, the numbers aren't inflation adjusted, but that's little consolation.

The things he's most insecure about is what he lies and exaggerates about the most. I think he's starting to worry that he's not winning the message war.

Meaning more inflation, because when trump appoints him to take Powell's place interest rates will plummet and off we go! The rich get richer and the middle class will struggle and there'll be more homeless.

Plus, from the way I interpret it, you don't have to be collecting SS, just be over 65 to get the extra 6000 deduction. It does start to adjust downward for income over 75000, I believe, and then, it doesn't go to zero, but I don't know what the lowest deduction amount is.

The 6000 doesn't factor in until after SS percentage has been calculated. If worksheet says 85% of SS is taxable that's what gets figured into your AGI, then the 6000 comes off, along with the standard deduction.
