I don’t understand the hate people have towards Greta Thunberg…anyone want to explain it to me? I see a passionate advocate shining light on a humanitarian need to help save an entire population of people from being ethnically cleansed and genocided, when others don’t even try. What am I missing?

Another thing to add to this thread, is that when most people think of the Belgian colonial and genocidal occupation of the Congo, they think of the more recent era of it. The genocide continued for over 50 years after Leopold’s death, and became both mechanised and even televised.

White western liberal democracies don't do "never again" ceremonies for the more than 20 million Congolese people that Belgium and their Leopold II murdered, and the millions that were injured, simply because the Congolese aren't white like the European Jews that the nazis murdered.
