Last year, I was too sick from my meds, which were changed after a GI bleed, to celebrate Christmas. My roommate when I was in hospital had terminal cancer. This year, I may be going a bit insane. A small tree in both of the rooms I use the most makes perfect sense...right?

One and a half snowflakes to go and this one's done and dusted. It's going to be good to finally finish something because I've hit a wall. 😵💫 New normals are hard to adjust to.

@coppersorrel.bsky.social The verdict is in. While I like the sit-on frame, it won't hold a large hoop well. I remembered that my desktop frame had a connection for hoops... never used. I'm going to set it on a lap hard top writing "desk". It's all a trial-and-error thing at the moment.

This is what frustrated me into buying a frame. I got a "sit on" frame which I thought would be easier on my neck than a table frame.

I'm pretty sure this is how all non-human beings are feeling as they watch us humans burning what was a pretty good thing to the ground for absolutely no good reason. The division is just stupid. If you can't see the damage you're doing, you deserve what you get. The rest of us don't.

I decided today to sleep on the sofabed in the LR tonight because the AC unit is there. I've slept through the night in the ER twice now, so I figure I can sleep through anything with the right earplugs. It's looking like the cat is going to sleep well tonight...I may be back in my bed. 🤦♀️
