I know it's very tiring fighting spam on the #SecondLife Marketplace, but I encourage you to Flag listings that blatantly abuse keywords for relevance.

recently my friend's comics professor told her that it's acceptable to use gen Al for scriptwriting but not for art, since a machine can't generate meaningful artistic work. meanwhile, my sister's screenwriting professor said that they can use gen Al for concept art and visualization, but that it won't be able to generate a script that's any good. and at my job, it seems like each department says that Al can be useful in every field except the one that they know best.
It's only ever the jobs we're unfamiliar with that we assume can be replaced with automation.
The more attuned we are with certain processes, crafts, and occupations, the more we realize that gen Al will never be able to provide a suitable replacement. The case for its existence relies on our ignorance of the work and skill required to do everything we don't.

As of today, any posts originating from Twitter/X will be blacklisted from our community via auto-mod. This platform has continued to develop unregulated Generative AI technology, resulting in the creation and promotion of illegal content that poses a significant risk for our Community Server.

Any links shared prior to this announcement will not be penalized. This change goes into effect at the time of this announcement moving forward.

We recognize that this may create problems for some of you that still opt to utilize Twitter, but if you would like to share your artwork, we suggest creating a Fur Affinity account, or utilizing an alternative platform (i.e. Bluesky, Toyhou.se, etc.) in order to display your creations.

Logged onto #SecondLife for a literal minute to look at my jackal face then logged out. We're gonna watch Mickey 17 at Fauna tonight at 6pm SLT, so I'll be back on before then, but like... I've lost the desire to just be online in SL while multitasking like I used to. 🤷

I am relieved the Winter Village festivities are over in #StarStable. While it's one of my favorite times of the year in-game with all of it's Winter Token awarding activities and bright holiday cheer, a wee bit over a month of it all is just long enough for me. 🥰😴

I don't know when Blizzard finally fixed this bug dating back to the armor's release in May 2024 through at least July 2025, but the Draenei Heritage helm no longer prunes one of THE most defining features of our race! Our horns have been restored! #Warcraft #Draenei #Exodar #Narcissus

Still not quite sure how to reproduce this bug, but I like it! Non-ghost Ghost Wolf! 👻🐺 I think it's something to do with spectral appearance glyph plus taking the portal from Tazavesh to Dornogal? But I haven't been able to consistently reproduce it. >_< #Warcraft

My guild is only me & @nuku.bsky.social. Before Warbands it was our way to transfer items between alts. We designated the last two tabs specifically for each other, so my tab is the feral spirits (enhance Shaman) and his tab is the white baby seal (it looks like the mage tower Druid bear!) #Warcraft

I don't play druids often so I don't have very many appearances unlocked for them. But since Lumber gathering is much more efficient on a Druid, I treated myself to a new easy-to-acquire flight form, the Slumbering Somnowl. I just wish the Lunarwing had a landing & running animation like this cutie!

We need more opportunities to dance with our dancing horsies in #StarStable. A lot of the old places in Jorvik don't work anymore because of a bug (?) where the horse's animation no longer loops properly so they do one round and then just stand there frozen while the player continues to boogie. 😫
