We need to have some uncomfortable conversations about Assisted Dying programs and how they are rooted in eugenics.
We need to be willing to admit that disabled lives are not valued, and as a result many are coerced into dying who very much want to live.
That’s not bodily autonomy, it’s ableism

and as everybody with ME in the UK knows - the single BIGGEST driving force behind the abuse of pwME got richly rewarded by the UK government for saving them so much money, they even gave him two knighthoods. And he is still there at the top of the NHS pulling strings.
