The lesson of history is that tyrants cannot be appeased.

Appeasement only feeds their insatiable hunger for power.

Tyrants prey on people who feel unsafe and vulnerable.

But without mass submission, a tyrant is powerless.

Remember this.

Elon Musk is donating $10 million to a Republican primary candidate in Kentucky.

That’s more money than the vast majority of Americans will ever see — much less donate.

Big Money is the root of our dysfunction.

It blows me away that there are still people out there with functioning brains who don’t take his deranged threats seriously. Maybe they will figure this all out in 3 more years.

Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Comcast, Meta, and HP.

They all once pledged to stop donations to anyone who tried to overturn the 2020 election.

And now they're all donors to Trump's White House ballroom.

Funny how that works, huh? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nbf6BJzpk1E

If we’ve learned anything these past few years, it's that:

1) Workers keep America going, not billionaires
2) Corporate profits don't trickle down to workers
3) Poverty is a policy choice
4) Health care is a human right
5) Strikes work

Let's keep fighting for a better world.

After buying it for $18.8 billion, Walgreens' new private equity owner has eliminated paid holidays for all hourly workers on Christmas and New Year's.

Last year, Walgreens had a CEO-to-Worker pay gap of 410 to 1.

Corporate greed that would make even Scrooge blush.

Donald Trump canceled a plan for airlines to compensate you hundreds of dollars for flights delayed by hours and hours.

United Airlines and Delta Airlines each gave $1 million to Trump’s inauguration fund.

Horrible Mac miller wrote an entire song glorifying Donald. It’s people like this that we have to deal with this situation. He also promoted drug use to the youth.

Trump increased U.S. military spending to record levels.

He bombed Iran without approval from Congress.

He's launched deadly air strikes on fishing boats in the Caribbean — while presenting no evidence to back up allegations of drug smuggling.

Walmart and McDonald’s are among the top employers of workers who rely on food stamps.

McDonald's CEO raked in $18.2M last year — over 1,000x the company's median employee pay.

Walmart's CEO pocketed $27.4M — 930x the company's median employee pay.

See the problem?

Trickle-down economics was always a sham.

Nothing has ever trickled down.

The vicious cycle of monopolization:

1) Corporations argue that their growth is just part of the free market.
2) Use their monopoly power to gouge consumers.
3) Take a portion of their profits to make political donations.
4) Lobby against antitrust enforcement.
5) Repeat.
