The problem with the ending of Wicked: For Good is that it cuts off the clear pathway to sequels that previous iterations of Oz knew were a sure thing: pairing the Scarecrow and Tin Woodman as a vaudeville comedy act.

For her next act, Ariana should take a page from the Diana Ross playbook and record all the songs from Wicked whether Glinda sang them or not.
