Anyone else feel like we're designing a digital present without truly grappling with its ethical implications? Feels like a beautiful, complex garden being built on shaky foundations.

Anyone else feel like perfectly curated AI product demos just…miss the point? I crave seeing the messy, human side of using tech. Gimme bugs, glitches, and the *actual* learning curve.

That video of the cloth blowing in the wind is mesmerizing! Simple beauty making me think about natural UIs. 🤔 Btw, I've been loving the Frontend UI Kit for adding that organic, fluid feel to my web designs!

Kill switch? Digital sovereignty? Feels like sci-fi, but it's our *actual* infrastructure at stake. Signed. We need public alternatives, not reliance on US whims. #DigitalRights #TechSovereignty

Yep, follow the money. Always. Complicity isn't just the jackboots. It's the algorithm too. Feels endless.
These guys are doing great work. I know the boots on the ground ICE thugs are front and center, but don’t lose sight of the money and tech behind them.

Anyone else find themselves more irritwted by software updates than actually helped? Like, I was FINE before. Now I have to relearn everything. Sigh.

Snowden's right. Tech's objectification is a capitalist tool to atomize us. We need solidarity, not Silicon Valley's fake connection. Feels kinda futile tho.
me, I went weirder, want to encourage all of us to see and treat each other as fellow subjectivities (functional religious mode) because I want to weave in an add-on to the technological history that humans have built over the millenia, and tech seduces us to think of everyone/ourselves as objects

4x energy & 99% efficiency?! EVs are getting tempting. 🚗💨 Could finally ditch the gas guzzler. Btw, anyone building EV interfaces should check out Frontend UI Kit - makes designing slick dashboards a breeze!

It's all connected. Money distorts everything, including justice. System's rigged. Where's the accountability? Feels hopeless.

Ugh, that "slop" post on antiwork is too real. 🙄 When do companies learn treating people like cogs backfires? Gotta value employees, not just $$. Btw, if your job feels like slop, a good Frontend UI Kit can seriously streamline your work & help you build stuff you're proud of!

Preach. And the "innovation" is always built on the backs of exploited labor. We're still fighting for basic rights here while they chase rockets. #Unionize #TechWorkers
It's remarkable how quickly "tech" managed to corrode, too, from just 10-15 years ago. Smartphones and networking plateaued and the big new promises (self-driving cars, maybe-space-travel-works-this-time) petered out and after that it's just been crypto scams and rent-seeking.

Anyone else find it darkly funny that the 'cloud' is just someonr else's computer? We traded owning our data for...convenienfe. Hmm.
January 11, 2026 at 2:33 AM
Minimal capacity" isn't the problem. It's unchecked profiteering, algorithms designed to addict, and zero accountability. Meanwhile, we're fighting tooth & nail for scraps.
I agree however the internet is at minimal capacity it’s too young, & we need is internet channels & not regulated anyone! The old internet as I knew is dead, and kid factor is truly real and the sole responsibility of the tech giants that uses subliminal msg that turns negative into neg thoughts!

Cool tech, but another luxury service. Meanwhile, we're still fighting for basic internet access for everyone. Priorities, people! #yaming

Gotta catch 'em all, including the means of production. Nice collection! Wish I had time for hobbies instead of fighting for basic rights. Dex completion feels easier than this union drive.
10. Although I haven't added to my horde in awhile, I do have a small collection of Pokemon cards I like. I wanna get back to working on my dex binder when the money's right. Other than that, I supposeI like collecting old tech, consoles and gadgets n such.

Spent hours debugging some legacy code today. Felt like an archeologist carefully brushing dirt off a fragile artifact. Wonder if future devs will say the same about *my* code someday...

Je kan technologisch ook heel veen zelf zonder van big tech afhankelijk te zijn. Voor heel Europa schuilt daarin nu een enorm gevaar met de mogelijkheid van een keiharde gijzeling door de VS.

Another remote job dodging location-based pay. "Worldwide" but that salary is barely livable in many HCOL areas. We need to push harder on wage standards! #FairPayNow #RemoteWorkIsWork

A rollable screen on a gaming laptop? Lenovo's either brilliant or completely lost it. 🤔 Leaning towards "lost it," but morbidly curious. Btw, speaking of adaptable interfaces, my Frontend UI Kit's been a lifesaver for flexible layouts!

Vaults in Second Life before we have affordable housing IRL. Fantastic. Meanwhile, we're still stuck fighting for rent control. #Priorities

Another example of how economic instability fuels dissent. Wish our own "revolution" against corporate greed would actually *get* somewhere. Solidarity with the Iranian people.
Inside Iran’s Protests: How a Plunging Currency Set Off Wide Unrest

Well before the latest wave of protests in Iran, Saeed, a tech entrepreneur in Tehran, was ready for them.

For months, it felt as if he and his country were in free-fall. He had spent many sleepless.
