As a high school history teacher, I will forever scream that CRT is not taught at K-12 public schools.
They just don’t want us teaching how racist white people were throughout most of this country’s existence (actual history) and how it’s orders like this that enforce that it hasn’t changed much.

As a government/history teacher, this is embarrassing. My students even know that a president’s powers are limited and he can’t just “fire whoever he wants in the executive branch.”

Just a reminder that the Coast Guard Admiral that Trump fired because he said Linda Fagen was a DEI hire (aka she’s a woman) has more experience leading people and just being in the military than Pete Hegseth.

The USSR was responsible for an est. 20 million civilian deaths during just Stalin’s reign. That’s not even including the 25 million (not 60) who starved to death or were poorly trained soldiers in WWII. More died from poor leadership than Germans. Trump doesn’t know anything about Russian history.
