MPs debating Digital ID today. Tony Vaughan (Labour) is supportive. The problem is the Government has said it won’t be mandatory. This scenario would only be effective if it was and we have a “papers, please” society! We don’t want it. It wasn’t in the manifesto. It needs to be dropped right now.
