Before you say anything along the lines of “they would never go through with it”, that’s not the point. It’s the fact that an actual person, someone with a position of power in our government, actually introduced the bill (HR 1161) in the first place.

When #TikTok comes back and we find out that the app was in fact bought by meta, can we remember to be realistic with any sort of protest/boycott that’ll inevitably take place? For a good majority of Americans, TikTok, thanks to it was algorithm, was a great streamline of income.
