While IMO his actions fully deserve Australian of the Year, that role comes with an intense media spotlight, and not everyone is cut out for that. He's doing great so far - turning down Murdoch is the right choice. I kind of prefer the enigmatic Ahmed.

The corollary is, biscuit manufacturers should sell their biscuits in Bunnings plastic storage boxes with "buttons" hand-written on the lid using marker pen. That way the adults would get to eat their own biscuits.
