In Here There Be Dragons by Disteal, Bree is a dragonspeaker. She can speak the language of dragons with strange and powerful consequences. When she receives a message from a great dragon, Bree embarks on a quest with a curious cast of warriors. Think ATLA-style cast with a charming Black girl lead.

Okay, the art-style for this one is BONKERS. Such color and detail! Dragonball Z-meets-MCU level explosive combat in Ordeal by Brent Bristol. In a futuristic Trinidad and Tobago, we follow Che, a powerful kimyo (superhuman). In fact, he’s more powerful than most, and in a world of trouble for it.
