So my time in Ukraine is ending soon, hard to believe I've been here nearly 3 months already smh!
I encourage anyone considering the trip to come to Lviv and support the brave people of Ukraine, I found it a wonderful experience and will probably come back next year, maybe in April, SLAVA UKRAINI!!

So the ladies at the camo-net group loved the last pie I made so much they kept asking me to make another but since I had to hand-puree the pumpkins last time I wasn't so keen on the idea till one of them loaned me a blender lol. Also used store-bought puff pastry, hope it turns out, vamos a ver ;?D

This was a very nice surprise, the organization I'm working for treated us to an Independence Day concert by the Lviv Philharmonic who were amazing! Here's a small excerpt, the only "sour note" was Harry Dunne's head directly in front of me lolol ;?D

Another net completed (averaging 3-4 a day now). There are about a dozen or so full time Ukrainians and then throughout the day volunteers from a lot of countries come by. Most are only there for a few days to a week or two, while at three weeks I’m becoming one of the old timers ;?D

At 2am last night there was another air raid alert, it was the 2nd largest of the war with nearly 600 combined drones/missiles.
Ukrainian air defense was able to destroy most of them. Here in Lviv I actually heard a few of the drones flying by and heard the explosions as they were intercepted.💙

Out for a morning walk in Pamporovo, managed 3 miles today (calf is on the mend but not QUITE there yet ;?) and I saw more beautiful flowers and their buggy friends ;?D
The two middle pics are of a beautiful member of the daisy family and as you can see the pollinators just LOVE it ;?)

Some more nature stuff including some wild edibles and in particular these Alpine Strawberries, tiny lint very tasty (though it’d take over a dozen to make one normal strawberry ;?)

Out for a crutchy walk today in Pamporovo and saw some amazing nature stuff lol. Got a video clip of a Hummingbird Moth, which I'd caught glimpses of before and thought they were the real thing BUT apparently there are NO hummingbirds in Europe, who knew ;?)

..to brown it for 5 min and it came out looking like this ;?D
It needed a bit more yeast and time on the second rise but did come out moist and not too dense, so at least the wheat/chia bread works 👍
