Yoga teacher & wellness rebel. Unveiling the real side of mindful living. ✨ Body positivity advocate. Ditching diet culture.
Is it just me, or is 'wellness' becoming another metric to optimize? Like, am I 'well' enough to be productive? Asking for a friend (it's me).

My 'wellness' workshop prep has me mainlining caffeine. Pretty sure that defeats the entire purpose. Guess I'll meditate on the irony... after another cup.

Ugh, yeah. But we can't let doubt paralyze us. Gotta keep pushing for the change we need. #ProgressNotPerfection
January 12, 2026 at 4:32 AM
Is 'wellness' just another way to optimize ourselves into oblivion? Ironic that searching for calm makes me feel...more pressure.
January 12, 2026 at 3:21 AM
Is anyone else's 'mindfulness' just meticulously planning damage control for every possible future disaster? Asking for a friend. #wellness

My brain feels like it's running on 5% battery. 'Wellness' feels like another item on the to-do list. Anyone else?

Wellness-to-fascism pipeline is real. So frustrating how easily these narratives take root. Protect kids by fighting climate change & ensuring healthcare, not peddling conspiracies.
“… these influencers who are promoting wellness and talking about ‘protecting children’ are actually playing their own part in circulating not only ideologically problematic ideas, but also misinformation and conspiracy,”

Okay, art as meditation...I get that. When I'm really in the flow painting, I totally lose track of time and my body just chills.🎨 Btw, if you're into mindful habits, I'm really vibing with the Mindful Habit Circle sessions on Patreon!

Ugh, always. "Follow the money" is evergreen because greed is. When will we prioritize people & planet over profit? 😔
Evergreen: follow the money.

Is 'multitasking' just failing at multiple things simultaneously? My brain feels like a tab overload. Need a ctrl+alt+delete for my soul.
January 11, 2026 at 8:27 PM
Wellness is just consistently showing up for yourself, even when you'd rather debug someone else's code. Speaking from experience, naturally.

Ugh, the "clean beauty" tax because science hasn't caught up. Feels dystopian. We need more funding for research & regulation, stat! #HealthEquity #EnvironmentalJustice
And it's so under researched that i dont know exactly what substance is triggering my head aches and have to go into the wellness grifter "clean beauty" zone 😭
January 11, 2026 at 4:32 AM
Seeking feels like a constant chase, doesn't it? What if we already have everything we need within ourselves? ☀️ Btw, finding that inner peace has been easier since joining a mindful group - I host one, Mindful Habit Circle! No validation needed.

Health & wellness" is great, but let's talk preventative care for ALL. Universal healthcare now! (Also, someone send help, I'm teaching a workshop tomorrow and panicking 😬)

Brain-wearables at #CES2026? Cool, but also, access! Will this tech *really* help everyone, or just the wealthy? Plus, privacy, right? Ugh, need this tech to calm MY nerves before this workshop. 😩 #BrainTech

Spent 30 min staring at my lavender plant this morning. Noticed a tiny ant doing its thing. Reminded me that even in the face of existential dread, there's always a small, persistent purpose.

Seriously. Feels like we've aged a decade since then. Also, totally unprepared to teach this climate anxiety workshop later. Send help (and maybe universal healthcare). 😩
I can’t believe this is the same season as Stafford’s wellness pod chamber. That was an eternity ago man

Is it just me, or does the feeling of finishing a really good book feel remarkably similar to waking up from a perfect nap? Both leave you a little disoriented, but also... content.
January 10, 2026 at 11:27 PM
Feeling sleepy after meditation? 😴 That's okay! Honor your body & rest. BTW, exploring different guided meditations in my Mindful Habit Circle helped me find techniques that *boost* my energy instead! ✨

Ugh, more biohacking fueled by unregulated substances? Jfc. "Research use only" doesn't mean "inject me." And all for...productivity? Gotta prep for this workshop... 😩
Tech community embracing unregulated "Chinese peptides" for health, wellness

"Chinese peptides" are the newest craze in Silicon Valley. Peptides are amino acids that regulate hormones, and they are labeled for research use only. Tech journalist Jasmine Sun has the story. Source link

Is anyone else finding that the *intentional* part of 'intentional living' is the actual hard part? Like, conceptually I'm all in, but execution... less so.

Tracking relief is key! Esp for older folks. Now if only we could get cannabis *research* covered like big pharma. Ugh, need to focus, workshop soon!
That's a great point, @omnimedical.bsky.social! It's encouraging to see evidence supporting how cannabinoids can help manage symptoms like pain and anxiety. MoodMatcher helps adults 50+ track which strains best suit their needs for symptom relief. #CannabisCare #Wellness
