Oh of course and we do it ourselves from time to time, but without any creds it’s just easier to ship a new one down instead of trying to get a customer to connect a laptop to the comms port on a comms rack that’s been set up 8 feet above the ground 😅

The existing Cisco router was ISP configured so we don’t even have creds, sadly. That and they have no other it presence so asking them to fuck around in the comms rack even over FaceTime is… invariably tedious 😅

ok but can you change the username to root? I know it’s admin by default but if you change it to root it’s better and more IT that way

Sure thing, they just need a Firepower configured and deployed. We were gonna put a Draytek between it and the Openreach socket but any passthrough should be fine, cheers ❤️😘
