What I just want to say about this great replacement adjacent talking point is the crude fertility rate fell below 2 in 1982, and would likely have happened earlier but for a wave of English kids travel free migration scheme decades before. But that mass immigration doesn't count, they were white.

The greatest trick the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was allowing random 19-year-old queer studies majors to represent "the Democrats" while the literal fascists on Capitol Hill don't represent the Republicans
the reason this discourse will never end is because it is completely untethered from any kind of evidentiary standard. as long as there is a 19-year-old barista somewhere saying “cultural appropriation,” guys like nichols will complain that “democrats” use alienating language.
It would be a huge step forward for Democrats and for general clarity in political writing if these terms went away. These came mostly from academic hothouses.

Incidentally, it works out that in the NZES the people without any covid vaccinations at 2023 election time were about 4.9% of the total population.

I think it says a lot about NZ's Green Party being environment/ecosystem/science based rather than some of the cultural trends in other countries, that the Green Party had the fewest voters who had never had a covid vaccination 0.34%.
