I listened to this album over and over the summer of 1996. So many good songs on this track, but Wheels of a Dream and Back to Before got the most play.

One more trip from MCO under our belts. Next planned trip is in January, for our first Disney cruise out of Port Canaveral. Got to listen to Mayor Buddy Dyer one last time. Farewell from the famous carpet!

We ended our trip with a night out on the Boardwalk. We had dinner at Flying Fish, and our server Gigi was wonderful. Got to celebrate our goddaughter’s mother’s birthday. A great way to end our vacation.

Friday began back at Islands of Adventure, and Marvel Super Hero Island. If Disney ever reacquired the theme park rights to these characters for Disney World, what would Universal replace the Marvel Heroes with?

We had dinner Thursday night at the Blue Dragon. Hands down one of the best Asian restaurants I have been to (admittedly I have never been to Asia, so there’s that). Great service, great atmosphere, and great food. We had 4 appetizers and 4 entrees, and loved all of it!

Super Nintendo World. Probably the most crowded of all the lands in Epic Universe. Donkey Kong was up and down all day, so I felt fortunate to ride it. It is definitely a rough ride, surprising for a new coaster. And it brings so much kinetic energy to the land.

We went to Dark Universe during the day and also at night. It is definitely more atmospheric at night. Lots to see and do. I actually enjoyed the Curse of the Werewolf coaster, short as it was. The land would benefit from a third attraction.

Monsters Unchained is probably the best ride at any Universal Park right now. Great use of IP (Classic Monsters). Great reuse of the Hogwarts ride system (and less jerky). Great queue to set the mood. No notes. 5/5. Only ride we rode twice! (Also, how does this ride have a 15 minute queue???)

Pizza Moon is such a beautiful restaurant, and fits the theme of Celestial Park well. We came here because my goddaughter wanted pasta for lunch. The pizza was good, the salad was fresh, and the free refills on the soda were welcome on a hot day. Wish they had iced tea though.

Harry Potter and the Battle for the Ministry has an amazing queue space (look at it!), and is a marvelous ride. But Universal Operations has to figure out how to move people on to the ride faster, or build out the land with one or two more attractions ASAP. The express queue was almost an hour.

Stardust Racers was open. My goddaughter and her father rode. The other three of us (her mother, my husband, and I), didn’t because of our experience on Velocicoaster. They claim they had fun.

Isle of Berk is the most complete land in all of Epic Universe. One major and two minor rides, a huge play area, a major show (which we didn’t get to see because of time constraints), and so many dining and shopping options. I hope this area wins some Thea Awards next year.

Thursday we went to EPIC Universe. This is a truly beautiful park. It desperately needs more C/D ticket rides to absorb some of the demand. We had express, but most rides had over an hour wait all day. We’ll come back once they add some capacity.

We hopped over the Islands of Adventure that evening to have dinner at Mythos. It really is a fantastic restaurant. The new menu is great. I hope they are able to preserve some of this when they are demolishing the Lost Continent.

Always a must ride while at Magic Kingdom, especially during a Halloween Party. Couldn’t get a good picture of Carlotta, though.

We got to visit the Beak and Barrel while at MNSSHP. I really appreciate the space and all the details, but they really should but barstools or chairs around the table in the Map Room. Drinks were great, service was great, and the environment was great! We will be back!

Magic Kingdom Tomorrowland is really the best Tomorrowland. It still needs some love and attention. The TRON:Ares overlay was great!
