The amount value we as a society place on sports ball of all kind is absurd and sad. Especially with all the other needs.
And just a general clarifier, owners suck. Players should always be taking home the bulk of the earnings. They do the work.

Oh completely agree, owners shouldn't be making the bulk of the revenue. Too much money invested in all these games in general, but that's a different conversion.
From my perspective though, salary caps + revenue sharing delivers a more compelling product. Just an opinion.
