Like this? We need a platform to coordinate pressure campaigns of red state voters on their senate republicans. The madness has to stop.

This infra is already in place for the global far right. As the internet’s only real superheroes, please? 😅
ONCE AGAIN, ELON MUSK SHOULD NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE TREASURY PAYMENT SYSTEMS & U.S. TAXPAYERS INFORMATION.

I'm calling on 3 of my Republican colleagues to do the right thing & join my Taxpayer Data Protection Act to make sure data isn't accessed inappropriately by anyone, ever.

Important thread from the ranking member of House Oversight, Rep. @connolly.house.gov, on the damage Senate Republicans did to this country by confirming fascist and white supremacist Russ Vought to OMB.

Please read and share the thread.

The devil really is in these details.
Last night, Senate Republicans confirmed Russ Vought, a Project 2025 architect, to lead OMB.

Vought openly advocated to weaponize federal funding to push Trump’s pet projects, deprive communities of resources, and punish those seen as insufficiently loyal to President Trump.

Have you considered funding or founding your own social app?

dftba + current events crash course + open source software = community platform where facts are sacred and the algos incentivize human goodness

Because the platform is the message

I just really thought we’d be the good guys 🤷

it is usually perfectly normal for constitutional courts to hear about precedents from other jurisdictions, the problem here is that the US Supreme Court has humiliated itself and now looks absurd internationally.

People take notes! Keep a journal and keep it safe for future generations. They will try and rewrite history. It may end up being normal citizens like us who can provide a historical record of what happened and what it was like before the fascists took over.

OpenAI responded to Musk's lawsuit, releasing emails that show it discussed becoming a for-profit as early as 2017.

As I showed in my report, being a nonprofit org was crucial to its mythology, recruitment, and eventual valuation—and it was performative from the start.

One of the weirder scholarly practices regarding generative AI that seems to have been normalized is citing chatbots.

I say normalized because many univs & scholarly associations recommend it as an element of proper scholarship.

But it doesn't make sense when you consider what a citation means. 1/

It’s not comical, and it’s not a lack of self awareness. It’s a playbook to gaslight America.
The lack of self-awareness is almost impressive.

Dems/media condemning Joe for pardoning Hunter right after a psycho who has spent 4 years ranting that he was going to go after him is the most toxic kind of phony virtue signaling imaginable. Don’t forget to pat yourselves on the back from your perches on the moral high ground.

Dems won’t win until we start dismantling the massive platforms that spew disinformation and stop the unlimited dark money flowing into our politics.

Why don’t we talk about this more?
