Foxes are similar
My mates and I dose their food for mange and you can put worming tablets in food too.

But a lot won't let you handle them
Plus, hattie sounds like a bansheee when she sees them

Birds are difficult to treat, I would usually give them just water and liquid painkiller
Like calpol cos they are so tiny

I spent about 4 hours in Chichester train station with one recently trying to find a vet or rspca to take an injured magpie

They're struggling a bit, to be honest.
I'm no expert. They were OK in a tiny cage in my workshop, but since they were moved to a bigger enclosure they've been quite subdued and seem out-of-sorts. I suspect nutritional or infection issues. Work in progress. Suspect the vet would just knock them off.

This is them a few days ago. I move them from indoors to outdoors when the weather is suitable (not pissing it down) and they usually spend much of the day in the carrier sunbathing.
