France and now Germany has voted to introduce 'voluntary' military service for 18-19 year-olds. The Dutch governmment has mass-mailed us all a booklet telling people to prepare for possible 'disruptions' citing possibility of 'war' and sabotage. They're winding up to something.

The article itself is bad enough (Badenoch's: 'Chancellor is hiking taxes to 'pay for' welfare..' etc. But the 3,000-odd comments show that a large cross-section fo the public is economically ignorant and has no real clue what is going on.
