He gave off the impression of invulnerability and a lot of people are upset that their vicarious enjoyment of this behavior has been permanently disrupted, because it WILL change their behavior and they'll, in real life, be more timid now. I'm not saying it should or shouldn't happen but it will.

I didn't go on Twitter in months, and today, just logged in to see the newsfeed, and the change in the algorithm is so brutal. Like everywhere I look there's just some macho dating advice, crypto fucking everywhere, and all the alt-right propaganda. It's a wasteland. Nuke it.
