I am deeply confused by private businesses claiming they "can't" put mask mandates in place for equally private events. At least where I live, there is literally no law against it. You CAN. You just don't WANT TO.

Well, I CAN catch Covid, and I really don't WANT to.

Reminder to all protestors to anonymize footage of other protestors when posting online, hydrate well, wear respirator masks, and look out for the most vulnerable members of your group. We got this. #altcitizen #nokings

Let’s keep this resistance party going ✊

TACO Trump is:
❌ violating the constitution
❌ deploying military against US citizens
❌ throwing himself a dictator's birthday parade

But we don't do kings in America. 🇺🇸❌👑

Find a #nokings protest near you and hit the streets this Saturday.

No Kings
On June 14—Flag Day—Donald Trump wants tanks in the street and a made-for-TV display of dominance for his birthday. A spectacle meant to look like strength. But real power isn’t staged in Washington. ...

Wife's anaesthesiologist claims, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, that the fact that pulse oximeters don't accurately read on dark skin is "baloney, because nails don't have any melanin".
To my darker skin comrades, do your nailbeds look the same as mine?

You can tell this guy loves a photo op. When it comes to lifesaving programs? Less so.

RFKJ promised to prioritize Native American health.

He spared IHS (for now), but then slashed other HHS programs Native communities rely on—vaccines, mental health data, food aid, youth programs, energy help.

Yesterday: Sec Rubio claimed the US isn’t “withdrawing from the world”.

Also yesterday: China pledges $500m to WHO, helping to cover the budget gap from US withdrawal.

As the US cedes diplomatic goodwill built over decades of humanitarian work abroad, other countries will quickly fill the void.

OK, this is wild.

In September 2023, geophysicists across the world started monitoring a very odd signal coming from the ground under them.

It was picked up in the Arctic. And Antarctica. It was detected everywhere, every 90 seconds, as regular as a metronome, for *nine days*.

What the HELL?

A quarter of U.S. adults have seasonal allergies, and climate change is making pollen seasons earlier and more intense, with this trend expected to worsen.
