Mostly badger, occasionally mermaid. Terminally online.
In case you've ever wondered, this is what a cat looks like when it's just sat on the printer's power switch & is wondering why there are now flashing lights and noises up its bum.

Today I borrowed the printer cover back again (it's actually the cover for my bike basket) and INSTANTLY this happened.

Out leafletting for the Greens yesterday. It was cold but we saw lots of snowdrops. 💚🤍

Another pic that better shows the relative sizes of kids, bike, and me. Doesn't make sense though... I mean this is a huge bike, big enough to fit an adult in the front, I've ridden in it, how is it full when my small children are in it??

Pretty sure the OP was thinking of cute toddlers rather than these big dorks, but at ages 9 and 14 they're still happy to get a lift home from town in the front bucket of my cargo bike. It's a bit of a squeeze though! :-)

After kicking a soggy cat off the printer three times I had to take action. She does not like the cover.

At home watching TotP. I liked it! It was weird! Also it featured A PRETTY BOY IN A SHINY SKIRT and I was absolutely desperate to see any signs of any kind of queerness out there.

I'm sure I remember seeing this (with accompanying cartoon of person with 9 fingers on one hand) in "Eavesdroppings" by Nigel Rees, which I read as a child (because my parents had it on their shelf & I just read everything that was there -- we didn't 'ave the internet in my day etc etc).

googling:
- why do cats lick printers
- is toner poisonous to cats
- how to tell if mouse in printer
- are cats just weird little guys

I worked out what's wrong with my printer

There are some horrors in here.

Just fixed my old Sony Walkman by replacing the saggy old drive belt (found the exact part available online for ~£5!) and now I have a working Walkman and a very happy teen who is excitedly ferretting through a heap of cassettes that I haven't played for years.

I've actually currently got the Co-op one, which is fine, though I think I would like "slightly more salted". Doesn't seem to have anything very weird in it!

We saw the badger! Not just on the wildlife cam, but for real out of the window! Having a little drink!

My kids (aged 14 & 9) were for some reason convinced that Santa has to have sherry. My mum & dad didn't have any sherry but dug an ancient bottle of port out of the cupboard. The cork crumbled to bits in the bottle & we had to decant the port through a jam muslin. Still drinkable though. :-)

Well, neither of us got a row (though I was only one off). Some good carols, some Rutter, and only a couple of things I didn't know at all. With a little more thought this could have been almost exactly as fun and almost exactly as pointless! Have yourself a merry little Christmas, carol-pickers!

5 minutes before Carols From Kings started, Elder and I decided to play Carols From Kingo.

Current status of mouse: unknown. Current status of cat: not trying very hard to catch anything

Look, normally I try these things so you don't have to, but I have to draw the line somewhere.

Who is this winsome little creature garlanded in tinsel, look at her big eyes, she is like a beautiful Christmas ornament ... OH YOU GOBLIN STOP CHEWING THE FUCKING TREE
