Apparently the old dish called "cheese pie" is completely different than what I thought. My American self thinks of dessert pies with a pie crust. No, this glorious dish is mashed potatoes layered with 16 oz of sharp white cheddar cheese (& sautéed onions) like a lasagna then baked.🤤 Yes Plz!
