Sitting in my living room, as sunlight makes rainbows from the prisms in my windows. It smells like vanilla & butter from holiday baking. I have food in the fridge. My bills are paid. There's a few presents under the tree. My kiddo & my cats are ok. Days like this remind me what we're fighting for.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it many more times. Don’t like trash around homeless encampments? Supply dumpsters. Easy and less expensive than sweeps and cleanups. Don’t like human excrement on the ground? Supply ports potties. Again, cheaper and easier than cleaning it up later.
